With the continuous expansion of business operations, the customer’s subsequent projects placed new demands on industrial steel materials. After gaining a comprehensive understanding of GDD Steel’s supply capabilities, the customer contacted the company again and further expanded the procurement scope, extending from packaging steel materials to industrial stainless steel plate products. The customer for this order is an industrial equipment manufacturing company located in northern Poland, which has long provided equipment manufacturing services for the European food processing, beverage production, and industrial automation sectors. Since food processing equipment is often exposed to humid environments and frequent cleaning operations, it requires high levels of corrosion resistance, processing performance, and surface quality from the materials used.
According to the customer’s project requirements, the exported stainless steel plates mainly consist of 304 and 316L stainless steel grades, with specifications including common industrial sizes such as 1500mm×3000mm and 1500mm×6000mm, and thicknesses ranging from 4mm to 15mm. Among them, 304 stainless steel is mainly used for equipment main structures, operating platforms, and general processing components, while 316L stainless steel is applied in equipment areas requiring higher corrosion resistance to meet long-term service requirements in food processing environments. For the food equipment manufacturing industry, material selection directly affects equipment service life and production stability. After production completion, the company conducted unified inspections on all products and prepared relevant quality documentation according to international trade standards, providing complete support for customer acceptance and equipment manufacturing. Considering the characteristics of long-distance sea transportation, GDD Steel developed a professional packaging plan in advance. At the loading site, workers carefully planned the arrangement according to the dimensions and weights of different steel plate specifications. After container loading at the GDD Steel production base, the shipment will be transported by sea to the Port of Gdańsk, Poland, and then delivered to the customer’s production facility for the food equipment manufacturing project.
