Recently, GDD Steel successfully completed the production coordination, quality inspection, container loading, and shipment of an important overseas order. The total export volume of this shipment was approximately 220 tons, mainly consisting of hot rolled steel plates and structural steel products. The cargo has been officially shipped by dedicated sea freight and will be delivered to an industrial infrastructure construction project in southern Brazil, where it will be used for the construction of local industrial plants and supporting warehouse facilities.
This order was initiated by an overseas engineering customer at the beginning of this year and is mainly intended for the construction of heavy-duty warehouse structures and equipment support platforms within a newly developed industrial park. The project has strict requirements for material strength, corrosion resistance, and dimensional accuracy. After receiving the order, GDD Steel quickly organized its production and technical teams to conduct a comprehensive project review. Based on the actual application environment, including high humidity, coastal climate conditions, and heavy-load structural requirements, the company optimized the material specifications accordingly to ensure stable performance throughout the service life of the products.
During the production process, the steel products were manufactured using standardized rolling processes and underwent multiple quality inspections, including ultrasonic testing, mechanical property sampling, and surface quality inspection. These procedures ensured that every batch of products complied with export standards and the customer’s technical specifications. In terms of packaging and protection, all steel products were treated with anti-rust oil and wrapped with multi-layer protective materials. Reinforced securing methods were also applied according to international sea transportation requirements to minimize potential risks of friction and corrosion during long-distance shipment.
During the loading and transportation stage, the GDD Steel logistics team worked closely with port service providers to complete the orderly loading at the factory and transportation to the port. The shipment was transferred in batches by multi-axle heavy-duty trucks and loaded through a combination of containers and frame containers, effectively improving space utilization while ensuring transportation safety. With efficient on-site coordination, all procedures were completed smoothly and the shipment was delivered according to the planned schedule.
According to the project manager, this order not only represents an important achievement in GDD Steel’s expansion into the South American market but also demonstrates the company’s comprehensive service capabilities in large-scale steel export projects. From initial technical communication and production scheduling to quality control, logistics coordination, export customs clearance, and final delivery, GDD Steel implemented an integrated management approach throughout the entire process, ensuring high-quality and on-time delivery.
